26TH ANNUAL NATURE CAMP BY JSNC IS GOING ON IN DOOARS

Webdesk, TNI Banarhat, 27th December, 2015: Its winter and its picnic time everywhere. Everyone is ready to welcome the New Year with open arms. Students have got a relief from their studies after yearlong studies. Taking this into consideration Jalpaiguri Science and Nature Club (JSNC) is organizing a Nature camp in the banks of Reti river of Dooars beside Kalapani Forest. The camp is currently going on and will continue till 29th of this month. According to the club president Mr. Raja Routh, “The main objective of this camp is to familiarize children with the nature and their surroundings. It’s high time when the ecology is fast changing because lifestyle changes of mankind. The children should know the importance of maintaining the earth in its natural state”. In this camp Sky Watchers Association of North Bengal (SWAN) is also lending its hand to accustom the children about the Universe. The members of SWAN will demonstrate about the stars and universe with the help of their specially designed Telescope. According to JSNC nearly 60 children from various schools of Jalpaiguri and Dooars are participating in the Nature Camp.
