CHILD LOOSES FINGER BECAUSE OF NON TREATMENT AT JALPAIGURI

Webdesk, TNI Jalpaiguri, 15th December, 2015: Again a child lost his finger allegedly because of ignorance at Jalpaiguri Sadar Zilla Hospital. In a domestic accident, the child named Dhiraj Sutradhar (7) was seriously injured while putting his hand in the cycle rickshaw’s gears. However, the doctor who assisted the patient did not arrive on the spot for treating the fingers. In fact, the victim was kept unattended. Later, the NBMCH doctors informed the parents that since it’s too late to restore the entire the finger. This resulted in the amputation of the finger.
