SILIGURI CARNIVAL RETURNS IN A BAND FESTIVAL FORM

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 13th December, 2015:  Siliguri Municipal Corporation is going to conduct Band Festival in this month or in the next month. Though, from the SMC, no finalized dates were declared. The bands will basically belong from Siliguri and suburbs. According to the MIC Mr. Sankar Ghosh, this time, the expense is going to be reduced manifold, unlike the last year. However, from various section of the society, there are enough speculations that the ruling Left front was the main opposition in conducting Siliguri Carnival last year citing reasons of unnecessary expenses.
