INJURED MONKEY RECOVERED FROM BANARHAT

Webdesk, TNI Banarhat, 12th December, 2015: In factional clashes between groups of wild monkeys at Banarhat a wild monkey was seriously injured. Later it was recovered by the forest guards. For the last few years wild monkeys are creating havoc frequently in Banarhat. Two days ago also there was a fight took place between monkeys at Shitalabari area of Banarhat. A monkey was injured it the fight. Localites Santa Roy, Dipjit Das, Kanika Dutta and Sima Sarkar were taking care of the injured monkey. Today a team from Binnaguri Wild Life Squad from Binnaguri took the injured monkey in their possession and took away. Ranger Mr. Dilip Das Choudhury told TNI that he came to know the incident in the afternoon and immediately he sent the team for monkey’s rescue.
