IIT BOMBAY CONDUCTS COMMUNICATION WORKSHOP AT SIT IN SILIGURI

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 05th December, 2015: A one week workshop on technical communication had come to an end today at Siliguri Institute of Technology conducted by IIT Bombay. The workshop has commenced on 30th November 2015. Earlier, the institution was being recognized as the Remote Centre for Quality Improvement programmes for teachers conducted and monitored by IIT Bombay and IIT Kharagpur. This workshop was conducted by National Mission on Education through ICT, MHRD, Government of India. In an press release issued by SIT, the Remote Centre coordinator, Dr. Ashutosh Chatterjee and Workshop Coordinator along with the Workshop coordinator expressed that the workshop is an initiative which brings in the same row with more than hundred other institutes of the country who are directly connected to IIT Bombay in real time through virtual class room video conferencing software A-View. Faculties of SIT and other institutes in this region participated in the workshop.
