ELEPHANTS STRANDED NEAR BANARHAT HINDI COLLEGE

Webdesk, TNI Banarhat, 28th November, 2015: Two elephant calves and 7 full sized elephants remained stranded the whole day today near a Hindi College of Banarhat. The area is also adjacent to Andrew Yule tea estate. The forest guards stayed in the area guarding the animals. According to the ranger, Mr. Dilip Das Choudhury the area is coming under the elephant corridor so the animals remain here to take rest. Later in the evening, the elephants were guided towards Moraghat Jungles.
