Webdesk, TNI Banarhat, 13th November, 2015: In yet another incident of unemployed tea workers dying in locked tea gardens a tea worker called Bir Bahadur Biswakarma (48) died at Red Bank yesterday. He died at North Bengal Medical College. It was reported that he was ill for the last few months. In the last two days of tusker attack, Bir Bahadur fell to save his life from the tuskers and was seriously injured. It was learned from the tea workers that due to the locked out tea gardens the management is also hesitant to provide any sort of protective measures from the garden to the tea workers. According to them, they are leading a fearful life, on one hand, its unemployment and another hand it’s the wild animals.
