ILLEGAL SAL TIMBERS RECOVERED AT MADARIHAT

Webdesk, TNI Madarihat, 11th November, 2015: In a major haul of illegal timber, by a raid done by Falakata SSB No. 53 Battalion jointly with SSB Area office of Falakata, the raid team got a major success. A large quantity of Shorea Robusta (Sal) timbers was recovered from the wood mafia hideouts at Madarihat. The Shorea Robusta timber was kept at a shop of Madarihat. The raid team consisted of SSB Officers along with Madarihat Range Officer Mr. Khageshwar Karji. Among the recovered woods were the Sal Logs, wood lumbers and furniture.
