BSF JAWANS DIED DUE TO ELECTROCUTION ACCIDENT AT ISLAMPUR

Webdesk, TNI Islampur, 16th October, 2015: Just before the pujas two BSF jawans died of electrocutions at Morakuti camp’s 139 Batallion under Islampur police station. According to the police sources, the names of the two BSF jawans are Mithun Barman (28) and Srikanth Yadav (30). The two jawans were working on an electricity pole within the BSF camp premises. Suddenly, there was loud sound due to electrocution and the two fell down unconscious. Immediately they were rushed to the Islampur Subdivisional Hospital where the doctors declared them brought dead. The bodies were kept for post mortem examination. Police has stated investigation in this matter.
