WORLD TOURISM DAY CELEBRATED IN SILIGURI BY EHTTOA

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 27th September, 2015: Like the rest of the World the World Tourism Day Celebration 2015 was organized today in Siliguri too. The programme was jointly organized by West Bengal Tourism and Eastern Himalaya Travel and Tour Operators Association (EHTTOA). This year the theme of the Celebration is ‘1 billion Tourists: One Billion Opportunities’ suggesting the vision of Tourism movement throughout the world. Another most important in this occasion was the rebranding of Bengal and initiation of revived Promotional Campaign to position Bengal as a must visit Destination. The EHTTOA today organized mobile tourist information vans placed in front of shopping centres of Siliguri like City Centre, Cosmos Mall etc. Members of EHTTOA today graced the Occasion today with Mr. Sunil Agarwal Joint Director, Department of Tourism (North Bengal), GOWB.
