SILIGURI’S TANAY WINS THE NATIONAL COMPETITION “VOICE OF MAHESHWARI ”

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 19th September, 2015: Siliguri’s Tanay Mimani won the Voice of Maheshwari competition of Maheshwari Society held in Pune. Akhil Bharatiya Maheshwari Yuva Sanghathan (ABMYS) organized the International Maheshwari Youth Festival in Pune in which under which category wise competitions were held like Singing i.e. Voice of Maheshwari, Dance i.e. Aaja Nach Le, Talent Show i.e. Maheshwari’s Got Talent and Mr. & Ms. Maheshwari. This has been informed by a press release from the National Cultural Secretary Mr. Sandeep Karnani, who hails from Siliguri. He said “Tanay along with 300 participants participated in this mega youth festival. Around 1200 people from India and abroad witnessed it. Tanay ultimately came first in the competition beating 49 other participants. He was representing this state. Another participant from Sikkim Smt. Madhu Marda hailing from Gangtok participated in the Solo Dance Senior Group and came in Top 5”. Mr. Sandeep also informed that it was a big competition within Maheshwari society and at least 25 states of India and Nepal participated in the competition. The participants showed their talent in different competition and mesmerized the crowd. The finale was held at Ganesh Kala Auditorium in front of 3500 plus gathering. Grand Finale was graced by many dignitaries along with Mr. India (World) Finalist Pankaj Mundhra.
