FISHLINGS DISTRIBUTED AT TUFANGANJ

Webdesk, TNI Tufanganj, 17th September, 2015: The Department of Fisheries, GOWB today distributed fishlings to the fish farmers of Tufanganj. This distribution was carried out with the help of Tufanganj 1 No. Gram panchayat Samiti and the District Fishery Department of Coochbehar. The fishlings were distributed among the fishermen who came from different gram panchayats under Tufanganj 1. No. Gram Panchayat Samiti. Along with the fishlings, the fish food was also distributed. In this occasion, the Chairman of the Panchayat Samiti Mr. Jagadish Ch Barman said that this program was organized to motivate the fish farmers of the area.
