THE JOURNEY HAS STARTED FOR RAIGANJ UNIVERSITY

Webdesk, TNI Raiganj, 15th September, 2015: After all the struggles Raiganj University started its journey from yesterday. The classes started from Debinagar Kailash Chandra Radha Rani Bidyapith campus and Raiganj Karnajhora High School campus. From yesterday the 1st year graduation classes started yesterday, which was inaugurated by the First Vice Chancellor of Raiganj University Prof. Anil Bhuimali. In this occasion the dignitaries present were the Registrar Ajay Ghosh, Controller of Exams, Bidyut Kumar Santra, The Head Master of Kailash Chandra Radharani Bidyapith Dr. Utpal Dutta, The chairman of the Managing Committee Mr. Dilip Das, Head Master of Raiganj Karnajhora High School Mr. Pratik Chakraborty and other Professors and Teachers of the University. The VC first inaugurated the General (Arts) Stream Classes, then inaugurated General (Science) and lastly General (Commerce) Stream classes. In the main campus of the University, the Vice-Chancellor inaugurated the classes of PG courses. He informed that a total of 1450 students were admitted in the undergraduate course which is being conducted at the school campuses. The class hours starts from 7:15 am and will be continued up to 10:15 am. On the other hand, a total of 350 students were admitted in the PG courses. The classes of which has started on the main campus of the University. The Registrar of the University Ajay Ghosh said that the courses in PG include M.Sc (Physics), M.Sc. (Chemistry) and M.Sc. (Mathematics) is started in Science Stream. For the PG arts stream the courses like MA in English, Sanskrit, Political Science, Philosophy, History and Economics has started. For the science its 20 seats per subject and for the arts its 40 seats per subjects where the students were admitted.
