SUSPECTED SEX RACKETEER MURDERED IN NAGRAKATA

Webdesk, TNI Jalpaiguri, 12th September, 2015: Today Nagrakata became tensed after discovering a body of a woman who probably was murdered. The name of the deceased was Minu Sarkar (40) from Sulkapara area under Nagrakata Police Station. Local sources said that Minu’s body covered with bruises was found today near a river bank situated a little distant from her house by some locals, who have informed the police. Later the police recovered the body from the place and have sent to Jalpaiguri for post mortem. Initial investigation done by the police reveals that the woman was murdered. However, the local said that the deceased was involved in some unlawful activities. Police have earlier have arrested the woman in charges of running sex racket and woman trafficking. This might be a result of some previous grudge of some offenders toward the deceased.
