HEAD ON ACCIDENT AT DOOARS NEAR NAGRAKATA

Webdesk, TNI Banarhat, 06th September, 2015: Today in afternoon near Dharanipur Tea Garden under Nagrakata police station an accident took place when two small vehicles collided with each other. 6 persons were seriously injured in the impact. The Army jawans took the injured to the nearby Luksan Primary Health Centre.

The impact of the accident was so dense that both the vehicle (pickup van and Maruti Swift) caught fire. For dousing the flames a fire brigade engine rushed to the spot from Malbazar. The traffic was halted in the National highway. Hospital sources said that a family was traveling from Haryana to Assam in the Maruti Swift. The pickup van was heading towards to Tindharia of Kurseong. Both the vehicles were seized by the Police.
