TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATED AT TUFANGANJ

Webdesk, TNI Tufanganj, 05th September, 2015: The teacher’s day was celebrated at Tufanganj sub-divisional Teacher’s Day celebration committee with much fanfare and respect. The main program was organized in the local community hall. From the morning here were heavy rains. The organizers comprising of students of various schools, teachers, and other personnel defied the rain and organized a rally, which traversed the town.

The rally started from the community hall and ended at the same venue. In the function, venue items were organized like the cultural program, songs etc. Later the retired teachers were felicitated by the organizing committee. The main dignitaries present on the occasion were the Assistant Sub-Inspector of Schools Mr. Phani Bhushan Patowary, Municipal Chairman of Tufanganj Mr. Ananth Barman and others. At the end of the day, a friendly football match was organized where the teachers of various schools participated.
