SUICIDE AT JALPAIGURI KADAMTALA

Webdesk, TNI Jalpaiguri, 1st September, 2015: A hanging body of a man was recovered from a hotel room in Jalpaiguri today. The incident occurred at Kadamtala area of Jalpaiguri. The body belongs to a man called Anup Dey (47), who hails from Sripally of Siliguri. The hotel sources reported that the man has hired the room no 218 last Friday. He has also informed that he has some work in Jalpaiguri for few days. On Monday after taking dinner he told the hotel staff that he should not be disturbed till Tuesday 1 pm. However, today, when nothing was heard from the room despite repeated knocking, led the hotel staff to forcibly enter the room. After entering the room they say the body hanging from the fan. Police were called immediately. The police have sent the body for post-mortem. According to the police sources, the initial investigation reports suggest that its a case of suicide. However, the IC of Kotwali Police Station said that actual reason for the cause of death will be known after post mortem.
