LIBRARY DAY CELEBRATED AT TUFANGANJ TODAY

Webdesk, TNI Tufanganj, 31st August, 2015: Like the entire state, today Tufanganj celebrated Library Day today. It was celebrated at Raja Rajendra Narayan Mahakuma Library at Tufanganj. In this occasion, the discussion was organized based on the topic of Library. The program was inaugurated by Mr. Rabindranath Ghosh, MLA and Chairman, Forest Development Corporation under Government of West Bengal. Other dignitaries present were District Library Officer, Mr. Debabrata Kumar Das, The chairman of Tufanganj Municipality Mr. Ananta Kumar Barman, Social Activist Mr. Chan Mohan Saha and others. The MLA in his speech said that such kind of discussion on Library has an objective to bring back the younger generation to the library, who have been distracted by the Social media and websites. More efforts are needed to bring them back to the books and library.
