FALAKATA CELEBRATED RAKHI DESPITE HEAVY RAINS

Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 29th August, 2015: Falakata celebrated Raksha Bandhan Utsab after defying heavy rains which lashed throughout the town during morning today. Falakata Press Club members today tied rakhi to the people in Falakata town. Along with the rakhi sweets were also distributed. Raksha Bandhan was also celebrated by Falakata SSB 53 No. Battalion. All the Jawans of Falakata SSB celebrated the festival despite heavy rains firstly by tying rakhi among them then they went to many local houses to tie the rakhis to the residents. In this initiative of the SSB the people from the Commandant to the jawans, all participated with similar enthusiasm. Raksha bandhan was also celebrated by the Falakata Police, Schools, local clubs etc. The environment was totally fraternal.
