SILIGURI FINALS OF NATIONAL DEBATE COMPETITION ORGANIZED AT ICAI

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 28th August, 2015: Siliguri Branch of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Siliguri branch of EICASA hosted the Siliguri Zonal Finals of the “National Debate Competition” which was organized by ICAI Siliguri for the students of Class XI and Class XII from Siliguri and adjoining areas. It was held at the newly constructed Auditorium of Siliguri Branch. A debate was also held in this occasion. According to a press release from ICAI at least 19 students from 10 Schools participated in the finals in Siliguri.

CA. Sanjay Das, Secretary of Siliguri Branch announced the winners. The winners of the competition were Pratik Chakraborty, Divya De, Praachi Goenka and Jawed Nehal Siddique. CA. Pankaj Maskara, Vice Chairman of Siliguri Branch announced that the Winner, Master Pratik Chakraborty would be representing Siliguri to the Regional Level competition which will be held at Kolkata very soon. Subsequently, the winner of the Regional competition will participate in the National Level Finals of the Debate Competition. Various students and guardians actively participated in the competition.
