YOUTH NABBED WITH FIREARMS AND BULLETS IN JALPAIGURI

Webdesk, TNI Jalpaiguri, 26th August, 2015: The Jalpaiguri Kotwali Police today nabbed a youth with firearms. The name of the accused youth is Samiran Biswas, who is a resident of Bamanpara area of Jalpaiguri. From the accused 1 pistol, 2 magazines, 8 round bullets were recovered. A police source said that after getting information that the youth has got those weapons under his possession illegally and he is trying to sell those off to a buyer, the police laid a trap in the disguise of a buyer. The accused then was nabbed red-handed while he entered Jalpaiguri. The IC of Kotwali Police Station Mr. Asish Roy said that a case has been built against the accused in the charge of holding illegal arms and has been produced in the court today.
