TUFANGANJ’S ROAD IN WORST CONDITION WITHOUT REPAIR

Webdesk, TNI Tufanganj, 26th August, 2015: The road in front of the Subdivisional Correctional Home in Tufanganj is in worst condition without any repair works for a very long time. The road comes under Tufanganj Municipality. The local residents told TNI that the upper layer of the bitumen is no more in the road and large potholes are created everywhere. This is causing enough trouble for both the vehicles and pedestrians plying through the road. In this road, a taxi stand and Government Quarters are located beside it. Many complaints have been done to the Municipality but till now no steps has been taken. Municipality sources say that the civic body is waiting for the fund release related to the repair works on the road.
