FULBARI BSF SAVES VILLAGE FROM ACID FIRE

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 26th August, 2015: Today in a major accident at Fulbari area where a fire broke out while loading containers of acid in the truck. The containers were supposed to be exported to Bangladesh. The incident occurred at around 12.30 pm today near Champatganj area just 100 meters away from the BSF post of 66 BN of BSF in Fulbari.
After getting the news BSF personnel under the leadership of Assistant Commandant Mr. Sahil Kumar Mahala went to the spot with water tank, Automatic extinguishers for dousing the flames. BSF personnel helped the villagers to save people, animals, and properties from coming under fire. However, three houses made of wood and hay could not be saved. Ultimately, the BSF personnel managed to save the entire village with their timely action.
