THREE CAUGHT WHILE SMUGGLING PHENSEDYL AT JALPAIGURI

Webdesk, TNI Jalpaiguri, 24th August, 2015: Three youths were caught while trafficking Phensedyl cough syrup at Haldibari more of Jalpaiguri. From the arrested men at least 352, Phensedyl bottles were recovered and a vehicle was also seized. The accused are Rafikul Alam alias Salam, Ramprasad Sarkar and Sadananda Roy of Berubari area of Jalpaiguri. The IC of Jalpaiguri Kotwali Police station told TNI that after receiving a tip off police raided the area and caught hold of the accused. After the preliminary investigation, it has been known that they were trying to traffic the items from Berubari to Bangladesh. All of the accused were placed in the District Court for further action.
