WEBSITE OF UTTAR BANGA SAMBAD HACKED
TNI News Service
Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 23rd August, 2015: The website of a leading Bengali Daily from North Bengal i.e. Uttar Banga Sambad has been hacked by the hackers. It is suspected that it might be the work of foreign outfits. The black screen showed Pakistani flags and other intimidating words. Though the newspaper officials hasn’t informed the cyber crime cell of Police, the matter has been reported to the web development organization. Immediately after the information, the front page has been changed and the content removed. This is the second such attempt from foreign hackers that have intruded the web security of the newspaper. Earlier in May this year, the North Bengal Agriculture University in Cooch Behar website was also hacked. One of the major problems of hacking is the data loss from the website server, which cannot be recovered unless those are backed up properly.
