It is heading towards a dilapidated condition. No maintenance has lead to such a situation of this iconic sports library. The plaster and furniture are in a state of disintegration. Located in the focal point of Siliguri sports circuit yet there are no one to stop its extinction. Initially when it was inaugurated on 10th August 2008 by the former Indian Cricket team captain Saurav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid and Irrfan Pathan the things were not such worse. People especially the children along with their parents used to visit the museum regularly.
