JALPAIGURI ACCIDENT KILLS A GIRL ON SPOT

Webdesk, TNI Jalpaiguri, 18th August, 2015: In a major accident in Jalpaiguri a collision between a Maruti van and a pickup truck collided resulting in the death of a young girl. The deceased was Sonali Ghosh (17). She belonged from Fulbari of Siliguri. The accident occurred at Paharpur area of Jalpaiguri.

Two more people were injured in the accident. Local sources said that the two vehicles collided while overtaking each other in the road towards Mainaguri road. The girl lost her life on spot. The seriously injured people were shifted to Jalpaiguri Zilla Hospital. The dead body was sent for post-mortem. Police have taken away the vehicles in their custody.
