WOMAN KILLED IN JALPAIGURI IN SUSPECTED FAMILY FEUD

Webdesk, TNI Jalpaiguri, 15th August, 2015: A woman was killed today at Jalpaiguri suspected to be because of a family feud. The murder victim was Jyostna Roy (65), a resident of Baalur tip area coming under Jalpaiguri Kotwali Police. The suspected killer was arrested named Kalyan Roy. He happens to be the youngest son of the deceased women. Local sources reported that there was regular commotion between the mother and son. In such an incident the son killed the mother with a weapon. The Kotwali Police was informed by another son of Jyostna Roy after he discovered his mother’s dead body at home. He was not there during the incident. Later the body was recovered by Manikgunj Police Phari under Jalpaiguri Kotwali PS. The body was sent for post-mortem till the last reports came in. The IC of Kotwali PS said that investigations are going on.
