Webdesk, TNI Jalpaiguri, 10th August, 2015: A major tension had erupted yesterday at Netaji Bidyapith in Garalbari of Jalpaiguri. Here in the school, there was a written test for recruitment in a private organization. The examinees ransacked a vehicle of the private organization. When kotwali police reached the spot the infuriated examinees snatched away the keys of the police vehicle. It is alleged that a Kolkata based organization called ‘Rastriya Jana Kalyan Udyog’ have published an advertisement of recruitment a few days ago and the written examination was being organized by the organization based on that. Initially, the examinees were told to report to another school of Jalpaiguri. However, when the examinees reached the concerned school they learned that the venue of the examination was changed. Some of the examinees when reached the changed venue i.e. Netaji Bidyapith suspected some foul play because the admission cards given to them was handwritten without any photograph. Apart from that, there was no uniformity of the registration fees taken from the candidates. When the examinees asked for the refund, the organizational officials fumbled. This enraged the candidates and they started ransacking the vehicle of the organization. Some of the officials of the company fled spot two of them got caught. The police have arrested them. The I C of Kotwali Police Station Mr. Ashish Roy said that the investigation is going on.
