By Arunangshu Maitra (TNI Falakata) ~ Edited By D. Prasun (TNI Siliguri)
Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 06th August, 2015: 700 families of Falakata Kadambini Tea Garden after 6 months wait accessed the most sought after electricity in their homes. It was basically due to special order of the CM the pending electricity bills were being met up from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Earlier, the labour line quarters had their electricity in the Garden’s name. However, the Garden management didnt pay up the WBSEDCL bills regularly. So the company used to disconnect the lines. In a similar incident 6 months ago, WBSEDCL snapped off the electricity lines from the Labour line quarters of Kadambini T. E. Hence, darkness prevailed during the hot summer during the night in those quarters. The school children could not study properly.
