MEDIA DEMONSTRATION IN SILIGURI FOR RESCUING MISSING REPORTER

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 03rd August, 2015: The protest of the suspected kidnapping of a Newspaper Reporter Chayan Sarkar continued in Siliguri too. The main demonstration was led by Siliguri Journalist Club. A deputation was submitted to the administration in this regard by SJC. SJC also submitted a deputation to the NBDD, MIC Mr. Gautam Deb. The minister said to the press that all possible measures will be taken care of in rescuing the reporter. Mr. Angshuman Chakraborty, the general secretary of SJC condemned the suspected kidnapping and said the protest of the journalist will continue till he is rescued. In the evening a candlelight rally was organized by Siliguri Journalist Club in this regard.
