WOMAN’S BODY FOUND IN JALPAIGURI POND

Webdesk, TNI Jalpaiguri, 2nd August, 2015: A woman’s body was recovered from a pond in Jalpaiguri. The incident happened in Sunday morning at Ward No. 13 of Jalpaiguri. The body belongs to Srabani Sen (38). The Kotwali Police Station recovered the body from the local panchayat pond. Local sources said that the woman was missing from Saturday night. A local resident first saw the body and informed the police. The body was sent for post-mortem. The neighbors said to TNI that there was a quarrel between the woman and her daughter. Localites also believed that the reason for the seemingly suicide is due to family feud. The IC of Kotwali Police Station, Jalpaiguri told TNI that the real reason of death will be understood after the post-mortem analysis.
