BLOOD DONATION CAMP ORGANISED BY LIONS CLUB OF NEW CENTURY, SILIGURI

Webdesk, TNI Kalimpong, 2nd July, 2015: Like many other blood donation camps being organized in an around Siliguri, another Blood Donation Camp was jointly organized by the Bagdogra Police Station and the Lions Club of New Century Siliguri Citizens, yesterday i.e. on 1st of July from 10.00 am onwards at the Bagdogra Police Station compound. Shri. Sonam Lama, Officer in Charge, Bagdogra Police Station, in coordination with Lion Amit Gupta, Programme Chairperson, organized it and made sure that it went well.

Shri Manoj Kr Verma, Commissioner of Police, Siliguri Metropolitan Police, was present in the occasion as the Chief Guest of the program. Later he has presented a Souvenir by Club President, Lion Prasenjit Paul. A total of 30 units were collected during the camp, wherein, the maximum donors were from the Bagdogra Police force. All the units of Blood collected in the camp was then submitted to a private blood bank.
