COOCHBEHAR GEARING UP FOR WELCOMING BANGLADESHI CHIT MAHAL RESIDENTS

Webdesk, TNI Coochbehar, 30th June, 2015: Today the state Home Secretary have called a meeting at the Coochbehar Circuit house along with the local administrators, Departmental Heads, BSF and SSB officials. The meeting mainly included the issue of Chit Mahal residents, who will come from Bangladesh to India. In the meeting the State Home Secretary also discussed the locations of their stay in areas like Mathabhanga & Mekhligunj subdivisions. He also ordered to provide basic facilities like health, homes, food etc. for the people. Further, in the meeting there were discussions on the providence of the services smoothly from every department without any faults. There were orders to stay prepared for any emergency situations. The BSF and SSB were also told to ensure proper security cover in the area.
