MOHAMMEDAN SPORTING GO PAST UNITED AT SILIGURI I LEAGUE

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 30th Mar, 2015: After the first match in the I League second division held at Siliguri, Mohammedan Sporting Club showed confidence of winning the tournament. One of the club officials of Mohammedan Sporting said that “We are in a very good form and so we are very much confident to win all the matches in the rest of the tournament”. Earlier United Sports Club were handed a 0-2 defeat in the first round match of the Second Division I League against Mohammedan Sporting on Sunday here at the Kanchenjunga Stadium, Siliguri. United Sports started the match on a positive note and created a number of good moves in the first half. The first goal was scored by the Mohammedan Sporting striker Daniel Bidemi in the 50th minute of the game. The second and last goal was scored by Phulchand Hembram in the 79th minute of the game for his side. That was the final score of the game.
