JAGARANI SANGHA DAY & NIGHT CRICKET TO START FROM 8TH FEB AT SILIGURI

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 5th Feb, 2015: Siliguri Jagarani Sangha is organizing the most prestigious All Bengal Day-Night Sub Junior Knock-out Cricket Tournament 2014. It was slated to be organized in December 2014, however, due to the problems of date clashing with some of the major national and international tournaments of the sub junior level cricketers it was delayed a bit further. In a press conference held at Siliguri Journalist Club today the organizers declared that the tournament will be taking place from 08th February 2015 and will be continued till 15th February 2015. A total of 9 teams are participating in the tournament this year including Arun Lal Bournvita Cricket Academy (Kolkata), Cricket Academy of Bihar (Patna), Subhojit Maitra Memorial Cricket Coaching Centre, Siliguri, Raikatpara Sporting Association, Jalpaiguri, Udayan Cricket Academy, Alipurduar etc. are among the few. The champion team will be receiving the trophy and cash prizes and other teams will also be receiving performance and excellence prized. Apart from these there would be the special fireworks show in the final day of the event performed by Raj Fireworks. The officials present in the press conference were Mr. Bishnu Saha, President, Siliguri Jagarani Sangha, Mr. Bishwanath De, General Secretary Siliguri Jagarani Sangha, Mr. Tapan Ganguly & Mr. Saikat Dey (both Joint Secretary of the cricket tournament committee 2015).
