SAROJINI SANGHA OF SHIVMANDIR WINS SUBROTO CUP CRICKET

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 25th January, 2015: Sarojini Sangha of Shivmandir, Atharokhai, has won Subrata Cup this year. In final they have beaten Agragami Sangha by 10 runs. It was an extremely exciting match between two clubs both of whom have played a good game. There were huge crowd to enjoy the game and surely they have got a worthy final match. IN the beginning Sarojini Sangha won the toss and decided to bat first. Their opening was not good enough. Among the batsmen, only Tanmoy Sarkar managed to score 49 runs. For Agragami Sangha, Ipu Saha took 2 wickets. In reply, Agragami Sangha fall short of 10 runs only. Ipu Saha scored a good run of 50. In the whole tournament, Ipu Saha has played consistently well and as a result he was chosen as the best player of the tournament. Rashed Hasan of Agragami was awarded the best batsman and Suranjan Ghosal was awarded as the best bowler.
