26TH JALPAIGURI BOOK FAIR AT JALPAIGURI MARKED HUGE SUCCESS

Webdesk, TNI Jalpaiguri, 9th January, 2015: Jalpaiguri witnessed the 26th Jalpaiguri which ended with due expectation and fulfillment. The fair was been held at Fanindra Deb Institution maidan of Jalpaiguri during 30.12.14 to 5.1.15. In Jalpaiguri, the Bookfair is used to be a grand celebration of joy and wisdom to the book-lovers. This year too it had not the exception with many young shop hoppers were found touching stall to stall at the mela grounds. Various kinds of books of different subjects, from various publication houses, displayed their stuff at their stalls, which provided full throttled pleasure among the book lovers of Jalpaiguri. Apart from the book stalls, the book fair organizers also organized seminars and debates, which provided a new dimension to the event. Ernest Hemingway once said that no friend is as loyal as a book. Of course, it is, because books used to bring out the fragmented truths of life. It helps to empower the extinct sensibilities. However, Jalpaiguri has to wait a year to have the essence of life, scripted in the meaningful words, written in the pages of books.
