Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 13th May, 2014: No victory rallies for political parties in Darjeeling District after the poll result this time. The order has been passed by the Darjeeling District magistrate. The Poll result is going to come up as scheduled on 16th May 2014. Today the DM of Darjeeling Mr. Punit Yadav said the administration will not allow any victory rally after the counting process is over. This is in compliance with a directive of the Election Commissioner urging for maintaining law and order in town areas of Darjeeling District. He added that for facilitating counting with considerable quickness, a request has been sent to the EC to increase the number of tables in both Darjeeling and Siliguri.
