A NEW BOMB DISPOSAL SQUAD FOR ALIPURDUAR

Webdesk, TNI Alipurduar, 8th April 2014: A bomb Disposal squad has been sanctioned for Alipurduar by the State Government. The second one is for Siliguri. Sources said that both the squad will function very soon. It was a long wait for the Alipurduar subdivision as the town and the adjoining area is known to be the hotbed for KLO. According to the police, there would be 4-5 people in the squad with equipment like defusal sticks, X-Ray machines, scanners, safety jackets. This has sent a sigh of relief to the security forces like the SSB and the police, who feels problem-related to bomb information because the disposal squads have to be brought from either Siliguri or from Guwahati.
