BLOOD DONATION CAMP FOR THE FLYOVER DISASTER VICTIMS AT KOLKATA

Webdesk, TNI Kolkata 2nd April, 2016: When Girish Park trembled on 31st of March bringing to end the lives of 25 odd people and causing several casualties, someone’s mother was waiting for her son at the lunch table. Her son never returned but for those poor people turned up the entire city to donate blood. Blood donation camps were held at every corner of the city since yesterday. The donors were in queue and crowd to help the victims. Calcutta Medical College hosted a blood donation camp which turned out to be one of the most trending issue on social networking sites. Apart from this, Presidency University and Jadavpur University has also actively taken part in serving the injured. The Blood donation camp started our blood donation camp since morning. Several students within and outside of the college have donated blood here, which will be directly going to CMC. People will be going tomorrow and day after tomorrow to donate blood. The disaster gave rebirth to the humanity in the city that was found missing with the innumerable growing crimes.
