The West Bengal part covers the districts of Cooch Behar, Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, North Dinajpur, South Dinajpur, Murshidabad, Malda and the newly form Alipurduar districts together. It also includes parts of Darjeeling Hills. Traditionally, the northern most part of West Bengal is divided into Terai and Dooars regions and southern most part of North Bengal is known as the Gour region. The Northern part of West Bengal, there is Sikkim, which is part of the North East region of India.
